Doubling the video memory affects performance in games using the relatively Full HD resolutions, we believe in consumer cards should be left out this feature focusing even more on the frequencies of operation, but always pushing the logic of the marketing equation "more Video Memory / better performance". 5 stelle per la TOXIC HD5870 2G "Le prestazioni offerte dalla Sapphire Radeon HD5870 2G Toxic risultano sempre superiori a tutte le altre HD5870 testate fino ad oggi e mediamente la scheda è più veloce delle NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470. Il raddoppio della memoria video incide relativamente sulle performance nei videogiochi utilizzando risoluzioni Full HD; a nostro avviso, nelle schede consumer questa caratteristica andrebbe tralasciata concentrandosi ancor di più sulle frequenze di funzionamento, ma da sempre, le logiche di marketing spingono sull’equazione “più memoria video / maggiori performance”.
